SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines . SEO mainly targets keyword searching, but also can target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. As a marketing strategy for increasing a site's relevance, SEO considers how search algorithms work and what people search for. SEO efforts may involve a site's coding, presentation, and structure, as well as fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully crawling a site.
SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING
Search engine marketing, or SEM, is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs). SEM methods include: search engine optimization (or SEO), paid placement, and paid inclusion.
EXPERIENCE
Through extensive reading and hands on experience have come to master the art of SEO. I have worked with a number of clients to help increase the traffic to their respective sites through participation in both organic and pay-per-click internet advertising campaigns.
In March of 2008 I attended the 4 day SEO/SEM conference, Search Engine Strategies, in New York City.
